Next Probus Walk

Probus walks are an important and very enjoyable part of the Clubs activities and are an excellent way to socialise with members (especially recommended for new members).

Normally 3-4 miles, a couple of hours – finishing at a nice Pub for a drink and lunch. Wives, Partners and guests( both two legs and four!) are welcome. For those less able or who prefer not to walk just join for lunch

 Probus Members Walks were originally started by Terry Shutt. In recent years Bob Godwin has organised them,personally, on a regular basis but has now asked for a volunteer to take over, though he will still lead walks from time to time.
 
While we do not have a single volunteer to take over the role completely many have said they will organise individual walks and I will be happy to collate them into a programme for the year.The current position is
 
 
July  – Peter ellis is organising a walk at Bickerton on JULY 30TH followed by lunch at the Bickerton Poacher. More details to Follow

September – Mike Harthern and Joe Hoyles -details to follow
 
October – Geraint Davies- details to follow
 
November – John Williamson and Mike Banks – farming theme around Marbury
 
Volunteers are being sought to organise a walk December – March.
