Bowls Evening

On Wednesday, August 13th, 25 members and partners enjoyed a very convivial evening at Wrenbury Bowls Club. Our thanks are due to Peter Bourne, Norman Bourne ,Jenny Bourne and Mike Banks, who organised everybody into teams and oversaw the playing of the matches.

Although the day had been very hot, by the time we were bowling, the sun was dropping and some very welcome shade was provided by the conifer trees on the boundary.

Great fun and rivalry, was had by all with much laughter and banter.

We then adjourned into The Berries cafe for a very welcome cooling drink and an excellent buffet where the conversation was very lively.
