Norman Bourne and John Williamson led a good turnout of walkers from Ashley Village Hall for our October walk. Some twenty members and partners set off around the surrounding fields and hillsides negotiating safely maybe 14 stiles.
Vice President Peter Bourne gave us a briefing in the different soil and stone types we came across and how different it was from around Audlem.
The walk concluded with lunch at the Coopers Arms in Woore. Many thanks to john and Norman for organising this event.
We would appreciate any member offering to organise a walk of approximately 4 miles. If you think you could, please let Roland Hall know.
