Oliver Vintage Cars and Land Rover factory

One of our most successful events this year was the visit to the the Oliver Vintage car collection. This was followed by a tour of the Land Rover factory at Halewood and the Land Rover off roading experience.
The Oliver collection is an amazing collection of period cars of distinction and also includes two aircraft (Spitfire and Lightning) and three steam engines lovingly looked after by Fred Dibner's son.
The Land Rover factory is a very large building with a good deal of Robotic control and an impressive demonstration of "Just in Time" manufacturing.
The Land Rover "Experience" is also an impressive display of off roading by the Evoque and Discovery models under computer control.
Our Land Rover hosts were very helpful and informative which help make this one of our best visits.
