With the (cold ) August holidays receding, Audlem and District Probus members can look forward to a resumption of the fascinating speakers and social programme.
First up on the 11th September is Gaye Rhodes whose talk is entitled "A certain Age". Gaye is very mysterious about the content of the talk but modestly says" she is good value for money"!
This is followed by what looks to be a most interesting day to Wales. First Betws – Y -Coed, a steam train ride, and a visit to Port Meiron. What better day could there be to such a beautiful country on our doorstep. Click HERE for more information
Organised by Roy Plume, he may just be able to squeeze you in, if you would like to join the trip.
Then on 16th september, Michael Murphy is the Speaker and his talk is " Over here – the Americans in Britain 1942-1945"
Should be a good month!
