Probus walk

For their first walk in 2017,Audlem Probus members visited a section of the Sandstone Trail.

A group of 15 met at the Pheasant Inn in Burdwardsley, and after a steady climb up to the Trail enjoyed superb views across the Cheshire Plain. There was a pleasant return journey along lanes and footpaths with not a stile in sight! It was remarkably dry underfoot, and we finished in good time before the forecast rain arrived.

Back at the Pheasant we enjoyed an excellent lunch from their comprehensive menu and Weetwood ales.
