Restart of Probus meetings delayed

At the Zoom Committee meeting last week there was a discussion about a date for the restart of Probus activities. We were informed that the Public Hall in Audlem is having major refurbishment work to commence through September, October and November which would make it more inconvenient for us and even then after completion of the works there would be a major cleaning up programme which would take most of December.After that the same social distancing rules might probably apply, which would make it extremely difficult for us.
Therefore the committee concluded that the idea of a Christmas restart is not possible and we should look to restart in January 2021.
