Bob Godwin lead a splendid walk around the country lanes and fields of Betley. Despite a poor forecast the weather was fine and in addition to the walk we enjoyed the tales of retired farmer Peter Bourne.

Our President Michael Smith writes that Humphrey Parker's funeral will be on August 26th at 2.30pm at St. James Church, Audlem followed by internment in the cemetery. Attendees are invited to Audlem Public hall after the ceremony.
